Electronic Direct

Electronic Direct GmbH (ED), founded in 1995 near Munich, is an independent distributor of electronic components and system parts. Since its acquisition by Conrad Electronic SE in February 2024, ED has played a key role in global sourcing and obsolescence management within the group.

With offices in Denmark, Canada, Hong Kong, and China, ED offers flexible procurement and tailored logistics solutions to customers worldwide. Its expertise spans independent distribution through a global supplier network, sourcing of hard-to-find components, and managing excess inventory.

To ensure quality, ED operates its own in-house test lab with procedures such as digital microscopy, X-ray, and decapsulation. A team of over 50 international specialists enables ED to serve OEMs, EMS providers, and industrial clients across all sectors efficiently and reliably.
